Story

In 2018 I decided to take a leap into the unknown. My graphic design business was well and truly taking off but I felt like my life was missing something. I wanted to share my creativity with a bunch of like minded souls who also loved art and fashion! The true magic started when I combined these two elements and started creating wearable artworks! It felt amazingly freeing to know that I could paint something different everyday.

I ordered a whole bunch of materials not knowing where this business would take me, maybe in a few months time I would lose the spark again? But that was a risk I was willing to take. I got to making and haven't stopped since.

In 2019 I decided to take a step back from graphic design to solely focus on Binko Banko and that is where I am at now. I am always thinking up and working on new projects so I hope you all come along for the journey.

Our pairs have been stocked in multiple stores around Australia and I love attending markets in my local area and out of state too. You never know where Binko Banko will be popping up next so keep an eye out!

Head of Creative Department

Hi guys! My name is Bianca and I am the head honcho here at Binko Banko. In fact it is actually named after me! - Sorry to my mum who chose my name purely based on the fact she didn't want it shortened. Whoops!

I am a mid century loving, gelato enthusiast, who absolutely adores her bunnies Winnie and Charlie (originally Winston and Charlie, but that's another story!). Aside from running a mini at home zoo, I also live with my fiancé Alex. He is my biggest supporter and somehow puts up with all the crazy I brought into his life.

Most days you will find me sitting in my home studio, painting up a storm and watching my favourite TV shows on repeat. The times when I eventually get out of my pyjamas and leave the house, you may find me exploring nearby beaches or eating my favourite food, gelato!

Another really important thing to know about me is that I live and breathe all things design. 

The slow trickle of ideas eventually form into this fireball design that I can't seem to shake from my mind.
The long days and nights it takes to make what I have envisioned in my head a reality...
But nothing compares to seeing it all come together, it is just pure bliss!

I absolutely adore all things quirky, unique and truly one of a kind and Binko Banko is just that.
